I hold an Agronomy Engineer Diploma in crop protection and biological control received in Algeria. I also have a master’s degree in Mediterranean Organic Agriculture from the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari (Italy) where I worked on the regulations for organic farming.

My professional experience mainly includes volunteering as a tour guide in the Saharan regions of Algeria helping local communities to increase their income, promoting eco-tourism, and raising the awareness of marginalized areas among the people from the North.

In autumn 2020, I joined the PAGE team (Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment, University of Pisa) as a PhD student where I am involved in the H2020 project MOVING and the PRIMA project FIGGEN.
