My academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences and a master’s degree in Agricultural Economics from India, where I also had the opportunity to work as a research fellow and project assistant in diverse projects. Besides, I hold an International masters’ degree in Rural Development from Ghent University, University of Nitra and the University of Pisa, funded by the EU.

I have participated in two International summer schools on Food System Sustainability and Sustainable Management, which enhanced my interest on the sustainability dimensions of agricultural and food systems. In addition, my research interests include sustainable food security and nutrition, small farmers’ welfare and food policy analysis.

In November 2022, I have started a PhD at the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment of the University of Pisa.

My current research focuses on analysing the impacts of digitalisation particularly from an agroecological perspective. My PhD contributes to the Horizon Europe project CODECS which aims to build digital ecosystems that maximise the net benefits of digitalisation.
